Allen F. Love, Sr.
Allen F. Love Sr., 84, of Mount Airy, NC went to be with the Lord on August 28, 2022. He is a native of Hampton and was the son of the late Hassell and Nevader Love. He was also predeceased by his wife Jean Love, son Allen Love Jr., and grandson Benjamin Hahne. He was an exceptional Machinist – Tool & Die maker and retired from Howmet Corporation. He was fondly known as Hotdog or Peanut by his friends, Buddy by his beloved sister and Pop by his family. He loved racing, bass fishing and bowling.
Left to cherish his memory are his sister Flo Parker and his children, Cindy Hahne (Dave), Kim Lowery (Ray), Mickey Aaronson (Dave); 8 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
A Memorial Service will be held at 5pm on Friday, September 2, at Peninsula Community Chapel. 4209 Big Bethel Rd., Yorktown, VA 23693.

Kim, Ray, Brandon and Brooke, I am so sorry about your father/grandfather’s passing. I didn’t know him, but I do remember him riding Brandon’s motorcycle and only hoping that I would be that young at heart at his age. Please let me know if you need anything.

Peanut and I were on many bass fishing tournaments around the area, at the time, sponsored by HOWMET. He loved bass fishing. I pass his house each day going home from work and fondly remember our times together.
