Alice Kathyrn Strader
Alice K. Strader, 81, passed away on June 20, 2021. She was formerly a resident of Hampton, Virginia for 50 years and resided in Elizabeth City, North Carolina for 31 years.
Alice is survived by her son, James “Rick” R. Strader; daughters, Julie L. Strickland and Kimberly Caloway; granddaughters, Crystal Johnson, Breeanna Davis and McKenzie Loveless; grandsons, Brandon J. Strader, and Nathan and Scott Strickland; great-grandchildren, Jason, Breeanna, Gage, and Gatlin; and son-in-law, David R. Strickland.
We love and will miss you very much.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 26, 2021 at Peninsula Memorial Park.
Arrangements are under the care of Peninsula Funeral Home, 11144 Warwick Blvd., Newport News, VA 23601.

So sorry for your loss. I always enjoyed talking with her, and the times we were in each other’s company. She will be missed.
Alice will be greatly missed. I enjoyed talking with her, she always kept me laughing. Condolences and prayers are being sent to you and your family.
My condolences ♥️ Alice was a wonderful mother in law to me. We shared many good memories together. I truly loved her, she was my friend and I have missed her. May she Rest In Peace back in the arms of her husband.
I am so sorry, Rick and family. She was a good woman. I wished I had have visited more. I have allergies and could not be around her cat. I will miss you, Alice.
