Robert Turbyfill

Robert grew up in Newport News, and as a third generation owner, he has been involved in funeral service, practically all his life. He has worked on and off at Peninsula Funeral Home for about 10 years prior to becoming the owner on-site in 1999.  For the in-between years, Robert worked as a health care manager/consultant for hospitals, physicians and medical start-ups on the east coast spanning 15 years.  He is a member of Chestnut United Methodist Church, and an avid cyclist.  Rebecca grew up in numerous locations, as her family moved to accommodate her father’s military career.  She is an RN by training and has worked in various hospitals on the east coast.  Rebecca currently works with Robert providing service to our community.

Robert and Rebecca were married in 1983.  They have three great children, Emily, Caitlin and Cullen; all of whom are grown and in their own careers.  Robert and Rebecca are pleased to call the Peninsula community their permanent home.
