Mandelo Luciano Lowery,

Mandelo Luciano Lowery, 41, passed away on Monday, July 13, 2026, surrounded by family. He was born in Newport News, Virginia, and was the only child of Tanya Lowery Badgett and the late Mandoza Lowery. Mandelo graduated from Menchville High School in 2003 and had a successful career in servicing and supervision of maintaining wind turbines in many locations around the world. Mandelo treasured his many friends, was passionate about helping his family and friends, and was dedicated to his dogs, his love of motorcycles, and traveling.

Mandelo is survived by his wife, Niaomi Lowery; mother, Tanya Lowery Badgett; godmother, Cheryl Ashe; sisters, Juliana Badgett, Dominique Franklin, and Sade Lowery; brother, Mandoza Lowery; aunt, Marchelle Harris; and uncle, Timothy Lucento.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, July 23, from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at Peninsula Funeral Home, with a Celebration of Mandelo’s life at 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home. If you are unable to attend, the service will be live streamed on our website https://peninsulafuneralhome.com/video/

    Love you Delo! We had an amazing time together on Earth,you were like a brother to me. You had an amazing smile heart of a lion and was very very adventurous!
