So sad to hear of Roger’s passing. I remember fondly many years working with him at NASA in the compact range. He was a most diligent and detail oriented technician. I also think of his special sense of humor, that makes me laugh today as I think of him. Special thoughts go out to his daughter Sherry.
Roger was a great friend, mentor, and colleague. He was an amazing fountain of knowledge on a broad range of subjects. Every day that I worked with Roger at NASA was a joy. We loved to talk about our time in the Air Force, about aircraft, rockets, computers, and all manner of technology. He would be very pleased with the ongoing mission returning humans to the vicinity of the Moon. Roger made many contributions to the USAF, NASA, the Community, the Nation, and the World. He will be greatly missed by his daughter Sherry and all of us from his NASA family.

It is with deep regret to hear of my friend and co-worker’s departing this worldly life. He and I worked in the Compact Range
at LARC for more years than I can remember. After retiring He,Eddie, and I would meet for lunch at Mister C’s or a Mexican restaurant. I will miss him in the future. He was just a great person and FRIEND. My prayers are with Sherry his daughter .
I’m so sorry for the loss of your dear loved one. May you find comfort and strength in God’s promise to wipe out every tear from eyes and death will be no more. -Revelation 21:4 Condolences
