Keith Morrison, 72, a native of Columbus, Ohio, and a resident of Newport News, Virginia, passed peacefully into Heaven on Friday, August 1, 2025, surrounded by his loving wife of 32 years, Carol, and his six daughters, Jessica, Jennifer, Amanda, Ashleigh, Carolyn, and Catherine.
Keith proudly served in the U.S. Army for 15 years. He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather who cherished
every moment with his family. His quick wit brought laughter to every room, and he was always ready with a joke. He especially loved spending time with his wife and family, vacationing together, and enjoying his many hobbies. Keith embraced life fully and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him, including his 1097th River Raiders “Waterborne” family.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Vicki Miller, and his parents, Joseph and Barbara Morrison. He is survived by his wife, Carol; six daughters; six grandchildren; three nieces; one nephew; and his brother, Kim.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Peninsula Memorial Park on Thursday, August 14, at 11:00 a.m. Keith would love for you to wear tie-dye or Hawaiian shirts, or just come in comfortable clothes.
Following immediately after the service, the family will receive friends at the family home.
Arrangements are under the care of Peninsula Funeral Home.

Sadly, I cannot be there but Keith, Carol and all his immediate family are in the Morgan family prayers.
I’m one of his cousins. Back when he was in the Army we used to be pen pals. But as time – and our lives trajectories moved onward the letters stopped them only the occasional call – and texts once we went into the cell phone era. I could tell he loved family. He was a mediator and peacemaker when needed. I didn’t know his fun side😂😁😎 He will be missed.
