Donovan E. Behny, 93, passed away on July 28, 2025. He was preceded in death by his wife of 65 years, Anne. He leaves behind a loving family.
Donovan was a native of Indiana, but a resident of Newport News for over 60 years. He served in the United States Army for 25 years and retired as a CW4 in aviation maintenance. After his retirement, he worked as a supervisor for Siemens for 24 years. Donovan attended Warwick Baptist Church. He was also a member of the DAV and the American Legion.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, August 9, 2025 at Peninsula Funeral Home from 12:00-2:00 p.m. The funeral service will be at 2:00pm. Burial with full military honors will follow the service at Peninsula Memorial Park.
