My deepest condolences to you all. This world has truly lost an angel on earth. Flo was a wonderful friend and colleague. She was an inspiration of hard work, honesty and generosity. Her joy and kindness lives on in all who were blessed to know her.
Florence was truly a wonderful and kind person whom I loved very much.
She spoke of her children and their spouses and grandson everything i spoke with her. Her grandson was the love of her life.
She lived my mother, Janice Harcum Head and her family for a time while her mother Edith Hysong worked to provide for her. I heard so many stories of their time together. When I was born, Florence became a second mother to me-rocking and feeding me while my mom rocked and fed my sister. I remember feeling that closeness whenever I had the opportunity to see this remarkable woman. Florence always looked for the bright side of any situation and was always kind to everyone she met. She will be missed more than words can express. Love you Florence.
She was in my Nnhs class and I remember her as a very nice person. To the family – I’m so sorry for your loss and wish we had known earlier about her passing so we could have attended the funeral.
She was a nice neighbor. I didn’t talk to her for years and then we did talk. I lived two doors from her. Sorry for your loss
