Ronald “Wayne” Heath, 76, died Friday February 21, 2025 at Sentara Leigh Hospital surrounded by family. A native of Newport News, he had been a resident of the Virginia Peninsula his entire life. Wayne was a friend to everyone and was always the sharpest dressed man in the room. He never worked a day in his life because he truly loved what he did. He was a loyal employee at Casey Auto Group for over 30 years and earned himself the title of Mr. BMW.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Lucretia Heath, and his brother, Guy Heath. Survivors include his beloved twin, Donald Wade Heath, two daughters, Jennifer Wilks and her husband, Michael, Adrienne Montgomery and her husband, Michael, and four adoring grandchildren, Hannah, Audrey, Kailey, and infant granddaughter Ellie.
The family will receive friends on Thursday evening, February 27, from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Peninsula Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held Friday, February 28, at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home. The service will be live-streamed at peninsulafuneralhome.com/video/. Burial will follow in Peninsula Memorial Park.

Wayne was a great friend.He was very professional in everything he did or say.His world was his two daughters and his grand children.He was liked by everyone.He and his twin brother Wade were so much alike.They enjoyed one another like nothing I’ve ever experienced.It was a blessing having a close relationship with wayne.Until we meet again.
