Nancy Jean Long, 77, passed away on Saturday, August 24, 2024, in her home in Newport News. She had lived in Virginia most of her life and was of the Baptist faith.

Her loving husband, Robert Long, father, Ruffus Coats, and sister, Janice Todhunter, preceded her in death.

Nancy is survived by her three children, Jerry Long (Susan), Tammy Foster (John), and Bonnie Geistel; two grandchildren, Brandon Hyler and Brittany Foster; mother, Dorothy; brother, Dexter Coats; sisters, Charlotte Davis, Patricia Cheek, and Debbie Crosby.

A memorial service will be held at Peninsula Funeral Home on Saturday, September 14, 2024, at 3:00 p.m.
