Loretta S. Lassiter

Loretta S. Lassiter, 84, passed away on Friday, July 26, 2024. She was a lifelong Newport News resident and a lifetime member of The United House of Prayer for All People.

Loretta was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert Lassiter.

She is survived by three daughters, Angela Flowers (Richard), Cynthia Thomson (John), and Patricia Sutton (Roy); five grandchildren, Jasmine Jones, Danyell Lassiter Kidane (Michiel), Brandon Thomson, Gerica Thomas, and Rishara Flowers; three great-grandchildren, Andrew, Skylar, and Giselle; and one sister, Joan Campbell.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 3, 2024, at the United House of Prayer for All People. A private burial will take place at Hampton Memorial Gardens.
