Don Allen LaChance
It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that the family of Don Allen LaChance announces his passing on July 10, 2024. Donnie passed away peacefully at his home at the age of 79. He was a proud Navy veteran, having served during the Vietnam War aboard the USS New Jersey (BB-62). Donnie will be lovingly remembered by his brothers and sisters, Richard LaChance (Judy Pendleton), Diane LaChance, Debra Roane (Mike), Lynn Hayes (Fletcher), Robert Howard, many nieces and nephews, and dear friends. A memorial service will be held Saturday, July 27th, at 1:00 pm at Peninsula Funeral Home, Newport News, VA.

Very sorry to hear about your loss. I was able too stop by and talk with him over the last ten years when passing gthrough the my old neighbor. Donnie would be sitting on the front porch, resting after working in his yard. He was always kind and gave me a little update on family. I tried on several occasions to locate his younger brother Robby but the phone number never worked. Maybe one day I can make that connection.
Very sorry for your loss. Donnie was a kind man. I stopped and spoke with him when passing through my old neighborhood. He was usually resting on his front porch after working on his yard or car.
Sorry for your loss. I never met Donnie but I was good friend with his brother Robbie. He talked fondly of his brother as well as his other siblings. God’s blessing to the family.
