Eldridge “Leon” Wells
Eldridge “Leon” Wells, 82, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Friday, July 5, 2024. He was in the Marine Corps for six years. Leon had a successful career with Center Ford and Pomoco Auto Group as an auto painter.
Leon was preceded in death by his parents, Otho and Allyne Wells.
He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Dale Doss Wells; son Brian (Jill); daughter Bridget (Jason); four grandchildren, Taylor, Tyler, Dallas, and Alex; three great-grandchildren, Brooklyn, Charlotte, and Chloe; brother Otho L. Wells, Jr. (Delores); sister Carolyn Tritt; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 14, 2024, at Peninsula Funeral Home. Interment will take place at a later date.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
