Constance Waters Willis
Constance Waters Willis, 79, of York County, passed away on May 13, 2024. Connie retired from York County Public Schools in 2012 as a paraeducator after 22 years of service, where she helped with the “Just Say No” program. She was a member of Providence Methodist Church for over 43 years and enjoyed volunteering with Habitat for Humanity.
She is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Jimmy “Pop” Willis; three daughters, Jennifer and husband Charlie, Brook, and husband Jeff, and Susannah and husband Justin; eight grandchildren, Tyler, Connor, Allyson, Caroline, Seth, Mallory, Madeline, and Myles; two great-grandchildren, Rebecca and Sofia; and one sister, Pat Turner.
A graveside service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Monday, May 20, 2024, in Peninsula Memorial Park.
The family requests expressions of sympathy through contributions to the Parkinson’s Foundation, www.parkinson.org.

Connie was wonderful to work with at Coventry. She will be missed in this world. God bless her and may she rest in peace.
Dear Jimmy, Jennifer, Brook, Susanah and all,
So sorry for your loss. Aunt Connie was a wonderful person and I treasure the time we lived in Yorktown when I was in middle school and high school and got to see you all more often. Also connecting in subsequent years on visits back to Yorktown with my own kids as an adult was really special. Connie and Jimmy always made time to meet up with our crew even if our visit was brief or short notice. I hope all your fond memories of your time with your mom make the griefing process ahead a bit easier. Surely she is with God and in perfect peace but missing you all, as she loved you so much. You will meet again. Sending lots of love and prayers from the Bachtels in South India. Sorry we can’t make it back for her service.

It may seem unusual after so many years, but I remember some wonderful times together.
I’m always saddened to hear of a friend’s death, even if the friendship is from long ago.
Know that you and your family are in my prayers.
May Connie’s soul rest in peace and may God grant you and your family strength as you grieve.

I worked with Connie at Coventry. She was such a fun and caring lady. She loved talking about her children and grandkids. She loved coordinating luncheon events at the school with the other paras. ❤️ helping the children and teachers. I have great memories of that time. My prayers are with the family.

I recently heard about Connie’s passing on. So very sorry. My husband and I will have Jimmy and your family in our prayers. I worked with Connie many years at Coventry School. She was such a lovely lady. We had so many great times with all our co-workers. She’d keep us smiling and laughing.
