As the stars now count her among their number, she leaves behind a constellation of hearts she warmed: brothers Jeremy Taylor McAllister II, Steven Cable, and Corey Waiwaiole; sister Shannon Clark; maternal aunt Lynn Fields; uncle Eddie Fields; cousins Shaun Fields, Russell fields; paternal uncle Sean Frank McAllister and cousins John McAllister, Jeremey McAllister, Jennifer Browne, and Jayne McAllister. Her nieces Sophia and Charlotte McAllister also mourn her departure.

Her gentle soul will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.

In lieu of flowers, may we plant seeds of kindness in her memory, cultivating gardens of creativity and laughter that she so cherished.

    Dear Jennifer’s Family,

I was deeply saddened to learn of Jennifer’s passing. Over the past 2.5 years, I had the privilege of sharing an office space with her, and during that time, I came to know her as a person of remarkable talents and a vibrant spirit.

Jennifer was truly multi-talented. From her captivating drawings to her eagerness to explore new languages like Korean, evidenced by her excitement for attending the BTS concert in New Jersey with her best friend, she approached life with boundless curiosity and passion. I often observed her immersed in her work, with the infectious joy of listening to BTS on her earbuds or sipping coffee to stay awake after losing track of time engrossed in a book.

Her artistic prowess was undeniable, and I recall her excitement when a local restaurant requested prints of her paintings. Her creativity brought immense joy to those around her.

Her affection for her two beloved cats, Whisky and Tequila, was palpable to anyone who crossed her path. Their companionship was a source of comfort and warmth in her life.

Jennifer also found solace and relaxation in her love for books and crocheting, hobbies that reflected her gentle and nurturing nature.

I will deeply miss Jennifer. In her memory, I intend to embark on the trip to France that we had often dreamt of taking together.

To Jennifer’s family and friends, I extend my heartfelt condolences during this difficult time. Jennifer was a special soul who left an indelible mark on the lives of those around her, and she will be deeply missed.

    With sympathy your work partner,
    Sadie

Don’t forget about the love of her life. Her nighthawk that was conveniently not mentioned anywhere an was not informed about her funeral when he was the only one. That was there for her. For the last 4 months. Of her life. An brought joy an happiness that was unmatched by anything else. In her life an the only one that was actually there for her. But now everyone wants to act like they give a damn. All the sudden. When no one even checked in on her. The whole time we were together.

My heartfelt condolences to Jennifer’s family. I worked a brief period with her last fall during a JLab review and got to know her a little more. She was quite a delightful person to be around, always very positive and pleasant to talk with. After that, when our paths would cross, we would stop and talk briefly, which usually ended with lots of laughter. We will truly miss her at JLab.

I enjoyed working with Jennifer. She joined us when our Hall A/C team was frankly in need of a bit of saving, short-staffed and a bit damaged as we recovered from the COVID years. We’re so lucky Jennifer found us. She and her office mate, Sadie, both helped make us strong again.

We her Facebook friends were fortunate that Jennifer was willing to share, the good stuff as well as the tough stuff that helped us to sometimes understand what she was going through. What a surprise to learn we had such a great artist in our midst! Among other things, she did fabulous drawings of K-pop stars, a topic that to me seemed both endearing and unique. I teased her that she could probably dump JLab and pursue a career as an artist in Asia. They broke the mold after Jennifer was born.

When my mind wanders and I look out my office window at lunchtime, I half-expect to see Jennifer taking her usual walk for exercise. Then I remember, and the sadness comes back. But my heart breaks especially for her family’s loss.

    sincerely,

    Dave Mack
