Drecen Michael Rawlison, 9, passed away Tuesday, February 20, 2024. He was a lifelong resident of Newport News. During his 9 years he was with us, he had so many difficulties and was such a fighter! Anywhere he went he would light up a room and it was such a joy to be in his presence.

Drecen is survived by his parents Amber Beebe and Andre Rawlison; sister Jade Rawlison; and Grandparents Teresa Nichols, Stacey Rawlison, Mark Pritchett and Jerry Beebe.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, February 28^th from 6:00-7:00 p.m. at Peninsula Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home Thursday, February 29^th at 10:00 a.m., burial will follow in Peninsula Memorial Park.
