Barry Carlton Roberts, born on September 14, 1946, passed peacefully on Thursday, November 9, 2023. He is survived by his wife, Lynn Evans Roberts of Newport News, daughters Jennifer Roberts of Jersey City, NJ, and Heather Roberts of Newport News, and numerous cousins.

He was predeceased by his parents, Norris K. and Mary C. Roberts, and sisters, Patricia Roberts and Karen R. Rancorn.

Barry was born in Newport News, where he spent most of his early years before also living in Clanton, Alabama, and Whitewater, Wisconsin. He worked 26 years for Morrison Knudsen, a position that took his family around the country. He enjoyed playing golf, building and flying radio-controlled model airplanes, and fishing.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the American Cancer Society, the American Stroke Association, or a charity of your choice.

A graveside service for family and friends will be held at Peninsula Memorial Park on Monday, November 13, 2023, at 1:00 p.m.
