Junior “J.B” Dalton passed away on Friday, April 7, 2023, at the age of 95. J.B passed away peacefully at home with his two loving daughters and his son-in-law by his side.

J.B was reunited in heaven with the love of his life for over 70 years, Lizzie R. Dalton, and his son, Thomas Wayne Dalton.

J.B was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Leana Dalton; and his brothers, Reuben Dalton, Burton Dalton, and Anderson Dalton.

He is survived by his two daughters, Wanda Wilson (husband Eugene Wilson) and Patricia Dalton; grandchildren, Micheal Dalton, Donald Dalton, Shannon Amos (husband Barry Amos) David Wilson and Ryan Nicholson; great-grandchildren, Brandon Amos, Bradlee Amos, Gabe Stockton, Kylie Wilson, and Londynn Wilson; and his furry grandbaby, Molly.

J.B. had a passion for playing and listening to bluegrass gospel music. He shared his passion with family and friends. He loved to talk about his faith to his family and to everyone he met. J.B never met a stranger.

A visitation will be held Wednesday, April 12, 2023, 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at Peninsula Funeral Home in Newport News VA. The funeral service will be held Thursday, April 13, 2023, 2:00 p.m. at Peninsula Funeral Home. J.B will then go to his final resting place in Parklawn Memorial Park, Hampton, VA.
