Lillian “Lil” Reid Veronie, daughter of Mabel Armstrong and Russel Reid of Collierstown, VA passed away, in the early evening of Sunday, January 8, 2023, surrounded by loved ones.

Lil, a long-time Hampton, VA resident, was preceded in death by her late husband, Walter. She is survived by two sons, Pat and Chris; four grandchildren, Julia (Chris), Stephanie (Monte), Emily, and Christopher; and ten great-grandchildren; Lilly, Kyler, Mila, Deacon, Greyson, Braxton, Oliver, Gatlin, Maddox, and baby Knighten.

Although our hearts are aching from the loss of our sweet mother and grandmother, we rejoice in knowing that she will be greeted with open arms by Walt, in Heaven, where they will be able to dance together eternally.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 18, 2023, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Peninsula Funeral Home.  The funeral service will follow at 12:00 p.m. at the funeral home with interment at Peninsula Memorial Park.
