Michael J. Orman, 62, passed away on Wednesday, October 26, 2022. He was a Virginia Beach resident and employed by Virginia Employment Commission. Michael graduated from Kempsville High School and was a member of DeMolay of Virginia, P.M.C. of Craddock and Kempsville, Eastern Regional Duty, Legion of Honor, Cross of Honor, and Chevalier. He was of the Presbyterian faith.

Michael was very quiet and loyal and he loved his family and hanging out with his brother, James. He loved the Dallas Cowboys, traveling and eating out, especially since he didn’t like to cook. He will be missed. 

Michael was preceded in death by his parents, John Elis Orman, Sr., and Lucy Lee Orman, and his older brother John E. Orman, Jr. (Jay). He is survived by his wife, Alice Orman; brother James Orman (Ruth) of Virginia Beach; sisters-in-law Ruth Orman of Virginia Beach and Colleen Orman of Virginia Beach;  three nieces and one nephew, Deborah Cartwright, Shae, and Katie of Virginia Beach and T.J. Pokrywka of Nevada; and two stepchildren, Ami and Robbie.
