David Eugene Robinson, age 65, of Newport News, VA died on September 23, 2022. He was born June 30, 1957 at Ft. Eustis in Newport News, VA. David graduated from York High School in 1975. He worked for Newport News Shipbuilding for 40 years, retiring in 2018. He enjoyed the outdoors, campfires, the beach, boating, motorcycles, the occasional cigar and last but not least the Washington Redskins.

David was preceded in death by his parents, Marrell Vernon Robinson and Betty Grace Hassell. He is survived by his son, Ciao of Richmond, VA, his brothers, Jerry M. Robinson, William J. Robinson and sister, Judy D. Chandler.

A celebration of life in memory of David will be held Friday, October 14, 2022, 6:00 – 7:30 p.m. at the Peninsula Funeral Home, 11144 Warwick Blvd., Newport News, VA. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to your local animal shelter.
