Robert “Bobby” Walker Lewis passed away on Thursday, October 6, 2022, after a brief illness.  Bobby was born on March 24, 1952, in Newport News to W.T. and Joyce Lewis.  He resided in Newport News his entire life, graduated from Ferguson High School, and attended Virginia Tech.

Bobby retired from Vulcan Materials in 2020 after many years of service.  He was an avid hunter and loved boating and fishing.

Bobby was preceded in death by his father, W.T. Lewis.  He is survived by his mother, Joyce Lewis; sister, Kathy Baraba (Mike); niece, Jessica Link (Adam); and great-nephew, Daxton Link.

A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, October 19, 2022, at 6:00 p.m. at Peninsula Funeral Home, 11144 Warwick Blvd., Newport News, VA 23601.
