E.B. “Tim” Wertheimer III
E.B. “Tim” Wertheimer III passed “gently into that good night” on Monday, April 25, 2022. Tim was Senior Vice President at Wheat First Securities where he found his true calling. After a very successful career, he retired at 56 and spent the bulk of his time traveling and boating to the Keys. He was a mentor to many and a rock in stormy weather.
He is survived by his wife and soulmate of over 60 years, Clare Wertheimer; sons, E.B. “Timmy” Wertheimer IV and wife Kim; J. Lander Wertheimer and wife Marie; four grandchildren, Jake, Chris, Katie, and Will; and sister, Betsy Lucas.
Tim will be missed by so many whose lives he touched.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, May 15, 2022, at 3:00 p.m. at Peninsula Funeral Home.
The family asks that any remembrances be made to the American Diabetes Association or to Autism Speaks.

We really liked Tim. We are so sorry for your loss. He was always very friendly and congenial. He enjoyed talking about West Virginia where he worked some and shared some fun stories. Jay was his mailman for many years and enjoyed getting to know him.. Tim was always kind at the dental office and was an encourager. We will miss him and are grateful to have known him.. Wishing you much love and peace as you remember your loved one. God bless you all in this time of sorrow.
