Barbara Jean Pearce, 75, of Hampton, Virginia transitioned to her heavenly resting place on Monday, January 31, 2022. Barbara was such a special lady, full of care and compassion for others. She loved the Lord with her whole heart and served as a member of the Faith Church of God.

Her beautiful spirit and infectious smile will be forever missed.

Barbara was the daughter of the late George and Dorothy Reep and she was also preceded in death by brothers John, Tom, and sister Gale. Barbara is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, William C. Pearce; son James A. Pearce; daughters Teresa Pearce Romesburg (Ron) and Jennifer Pearce Thomason (Brian); three grandchildren; and sister, Susan Smith.

The family will receive friends at a visitation on Sunday, February 6, 2022, from 3-5 p.m. at Peninsula Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life service will be held on Monday, February 7, 2022, at 11:30 a.m. at the funeral home. The CDC highly recommends masks for inside gatherings. Interment will follow the service at Peninsula Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, the family has asked for donations to be made in her honor to The Animal Aid Society, 80 Butler Farm Rd Hampton VA 23666.
