Barbara Gupton Askew, 70, passed away on Tuesday, December 14, 2021.  She is survived by her husband, Gilbert Askew, Jr., two daughters, Tina (Justin) and Annette, five grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, December 22 from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. at Peninsula Funeral Home.  A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, December 23 at 2:00, with interment following at Peninsula Memorial Park. The CDC highly recommends masks for inside gatherings.
