Cindy Ann Kauffman, 55, passed away Saturday morning July, 17, 2021, after a long- fought battle with cancer.

Born in Pennsylvania September 3, 1965, she moved to Florida before making Hampton her home.

She was preceded in death by her mother Mary Gifford and step-father Robert Gifford. She is survived by her loving children Cody Stelling and Cassidy Stelling and her longtime boyfriend Bill Stelling. She is also survived by her siblings Debbie Bennett (Jerry), Connie Osborn, Cliff Kauffman (Dava), Tammy Johnson (Scott), and David Kauffman (Tammy), step-sister Anna Staub, and her many nieces and nephews.

Cindy was a longtime employee of Sentara Hospital and also worked for CHKD in Norfolk and in Newport News.

The family would like to thank the staff at Riverside neurology unit and Hospice House in Williamsburg for their dedication and care for Cindy in her final days.

The family will hold a celebration of life ceremony and reception on Thursday, July 22, 2021 from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. at Brown Chicken Brown Cow in downtown Hampton.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in Cindy’s name be made to Hospice House in Williamsburg.
