Geraldine Marie Clause, 89, a resident of Newport News, Virginia since 1968, passed away on March 3, 2021.  She was born August 30, 1931 in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania and graduated from Hanover High School on June 15, 1949.  She married William Henry Clause on July 9, 1955 and lived in many places while her husband served his country in the U.S. Army.

Gerrie was preceded in death by her husband, William Henry Clause.  She is survived by her sons, William Clause of Newport News, VA and Wayne Clause of Burlington, KY.  She was blessed with four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.  Gerrie will always have a special place in our hearts.

A funeral mass will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 11, 2021 at St. Jerome Catholic Church, 116 Denbigh Blvd., in Newport News.  Interment will follow at Peninsula Memorial Park. Guests are required to wear a mask and maintain social distancing.
