Gerald “Jerry” T. Lane, 70, passed away on January 17, 2021.  He was a native of Pennsylvania and a resident of Newport News for 53 years. He retired from Colas, Inc. as a Procurement Manager after two years of service.

Jerry was preceded in death by his father, John D. Lane, Sr.; mother, Anna A. Campbell; sister, June DeShullo; and brother, John D. Lane, Jr..  He is survived by his companion of 30 years, Betty Gatewood; sister; Joyce Winters (Jeffrey); brother, James P. Lane (Linda); five nieces and nephews; and nine great-nieces and nephews.

Services will be held at a later date.  Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
