Woodrow “Sonny” W. Gideon, II
Woodrow “Sonny” W. Gideon, II, 69, of Greenville, SC passed away suddenly on January 7, 2022. Sonny always had a story to tell and his laughter and smile were infectious. He loved others unconditionally and wholeheartedly, especially his wife, Sherrie. Sonny faithfully served his fellow man, working alongside mission groups to provide food, clothing, and other assistance to those in need.
Sonny is survived by his wife of 46 years, Sherrie Gideon and his three sons, Woodrow Wilson Gideon III, Jeffery Phillip Gideon, and Eddie Francis Gideon.
The family will receive friends from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Friday January 14, 2022 at Victory Life Church, with a funeral service to follow at 1:30 p.m. Interment will be in Hampton Memorial Gardens.

So sorry to hear of Sonny’s death. I met him only once. He was the youngest grandchild of Thomas and Lena Gideon. My father was the oldest grandchild, Gill Gideon, Jr. My father was called Sonny Boy when he was young. Know that everyone in your family are included in my prayers.
