William Charles Meck
William “Bill” Charles Meck, 70, passed away on December 21, 2021. He was born in Virginia and was a resident of Newport News for 18 years. Bill was a radiological technician with Dominion Power for 18 years. He was of the Baptist faith.
Bill is preceded in death by his father, John H. Meck, Sr.; mother, Virginia W. Meck; sister, Elizabeth Barnard; and twin brother, Robert Meck. He is survived by one niece; eight nephews; sisters, Sheryl V. Hall and Sharon M. O’Neal; and brother, John H. Meck, Jr.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, December 30, 2021 at Peninsula Memorial Park, officiated by Pastor David Carroll.
Memorial contributions may be made to Sharon Baptist Church, 2625 N. Armistead Avenue, Hampton, VA 23666.
Arrangements are under the care of Peninsula Funeral Home, 11144 Warwick Boulevard, Newport News, Virginia 23601.

Billy,The great times we had growing up.You and Bobby were fantastic friends.As we got older we saw less of each other and I quest that happens in life,but you will always be remembered as a great friend.I’m going to miss you buddy. Rest In Peace, Tim
