William “Bo” Alfred Baker

William “Bo” Alfred Baker, 85, passed away Sunday, May 8, 2022.  He was a native of Fuquay-Varina, North Carolina, and a resident of Hampton for 78 years.  Bo was a barber of 40 years by profession with his last 20 years at the Langley Air Force Base before retiring in 1998.  He was a member of Westhampton Baptist Church and he loved going to Cracker Barrell of Hampton.

Bo was preceded in death by his wife, ReVonda Lou Baker, and his mother, Mabel Baker.  He is survived by his daughter, Trisha Baker, brother-in-law Jack Moorey, and nephews, Ron Kohlman and Jackie and Mike Moorey.

The family will hold a memorial gathering at Peninsula Memorial Park on Thursday, May 19, 2022, at 11:00 a.m.

Arrangements are under the care of Peninsula Funeral Home, 11144 Warwick Blvd., Newport News, VA 23601.

    He will be missed by all who knew him and his family. As a note, Mabel and her family were friends of my parents and knew each other from their early days in Fuquay Springs (as it was called before merging with Varina).
