To honor her life, a Christian graveside service will be conducted on Monday, March 28, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. at Peninsula Memorial Park, Garden of Wisdom, by Pastor Joe Hunt of Liberty Live Church. The family will receive friends and family immediately following the service at Liberty Life Church, 1021 Big Bethel Road, Hampton VA 23666, where favorite memories will be shared along with a meal hosted by her Sunday School Class.
In lieu of flowers, Phyllis would prefer donations be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis Tennessee.
Arrangements are in the care of Peninsula Funeral Home, 11144 Warwick Blvd., Newport News, VA 23601.
I am praying for you and your family. God bless you.
Ms. Phyllis was always so kind to me and glad to hear the latest news about my family. She was a dear neighbor, and I have missed her since she moved from her Newmarket home. May the family continue to be blessed with happy memories of her. My sincere condolences for the family’s loss.
Sorry for your loss and let’s not forget her great-granddaughter, Alyssia Burge.
