Martha Gravely Denny passed away on Friday, April 23, 2021.  Known to friends as Martha Bea and her family Mumsey.  She retired from Avon Family Fashions.  She later worked at the Hampton Coliseum.  Martha enjoyed her many co-workers and friends.  She will be missed for her kindness and her willingness to help others.

Martha is survived by her son, Thomas Farthing, and wife, Rhonda; daughters, Marsha Moran and husband, Wayne, Martha Farthing, Mary Boles and her husband, Keith; grandchildren, Eric Dorn and wife, Sonya, Laura Simmons and husband, Matt; great-grandchildren, Viktoria Dorn, Noah, and Elizabeth Simmons.

A private graveside will be held by the family at Peninsula Memorial Park.  Arrangements are under the care of Peninsula Funeral Home, 11144 Warwick Blvd., Newport News, VA 23601.
