Katherine Marion Hicks Parker
Katherine Marion Hicks Parker died December 17, 2022 surrounded by family. She has resided in this area since 1955. She was a member of Hidenwood Presbyterian Church, serving in various leadership roles during the early life of the church.
Katherine is survived by her sons; Gary and wife Cheryl of Jamestown, Rhode Island, Bryan of Roanoke, VA, Bruce of Richmond, VA and Alan of Virginia Beach, VA, grandson; Morgan and wife Emma of Warwick, Rhode Island.
A private graveside funeral will be held with Reverend Dr. Douglas Watson.
Arrangements are under the care of Peninsula Funeral Home, 11144 Warwick Blvd, Newport News, VA 23601.

Your Mom was an amazing lady and an inspiration to many. I had the honor of knowing her since I first started working at Suburban in the 1970’s. I looked forward over the years to chatting with her on the phone. I will treasure those memories.
