Nothing will ever be the same without you, David. I’ll never see a smoker (BBQ) and not think of you. I’ll never cook hush puppies and not think of you. I’ll never eat Brunswick stew and not think of you. I’ll never forget our great big fish fry last year at Ed Allen’s. I’ll never forget your “special camping chairs”. Cherrystone will forever remind me of that cold and windy Memorial Day weekend where you had to go buy warm clothes because you only packed shorts. So many great memories with you that I will forever cherish. I’m going to miss you, David. Until we meet again.

It was my pleasure to work with David at HRSD. Such a warm good hearted person and was always willing to help. After I retired I was saddened to hear that he had fallen ill and had to retire early. May he RIP and I wish Peace and Comfort to the family during this difficult time
