It Takes a Family to Comfort a Family
Douglas is a resident of Hampton, Virginia. He has an A.A.S. in Funeral Service from Tidewater Community College, as well as, a B.A. in History from Christopher Newport University. Douglas is an Army veteran and served in the 18th Field Artillery Brigade (Airborne), the 29th Infantry Division, 2nd Infantry Division, and the 2nd Armored Cavalry Regiment. Additionally, he is a graduate of the U.S. Army Airborne School at Fort Benning, GA. After leaving the military, Douglas taught English as a Second Language (ESL) for several years in South Korea. While living in South Korea, he enjoyed the study of kumdo and learning to read and speak Korean.
Douglas regularly attends Mass and serves as an usher at St Rose of Lima and the Korean Martyrs Catholic Church. He is a member of the Knights of Columbus Council #11264 and the American Legion Post # 25. His hobbies include hiking and photography.
